PU FOAM
One-component, self-expanding polyurethane foam used for sealing, filling,
thermal and sound insulating in construction and other applications. It
expands rapidly on application, cures with atmospheric moisture, and provides
excellent gap filling and thermal insulation properties

Features
• Strong Adhesion: bonds well to most building materials except PTFE, PE,
and PP.
• Durable & weather resistant.
• After curing the PU foam can be cut, sanded and painted.
• B3 flammability rating, Not fire-resistant.
• Thermal & Acoustic insulation.
• Vibration resistance, Elastic and buffering.
Applications
• Vibration & noise solution: eliminates unwanted noise and vibrations in
assembled parts and sound systems in vehicle tuning applications.
• Sealing gaps & cracks: fills voids in walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent
air and moisture infiltration.
• Window & door Installation: secures and insulates frames, reducing
drafts and improving stability.
• Pipe & duct Insulation: Seals openings around pipes and ducts, enhancing
thermal and acoustic insulation.
Mode of Use
1. Preparation:
• Shake the can thoroughly for at least 60 times before use.
• Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust, oil, or loose particles.
• Slightly moisten the surface with water to improve adhesion and expansion.
2. Application:
• Attach the can to a PU foam gun and adjust the flow control.
• Apply the foam in layers, filling only 50%-60% of the gap (it will
expand).
• For vertical applications, work from bottom to top to prevent sagging.
3. Curing & Finishing:
• The foam becomes tack-free in 10 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.
• Once cured, trim excess foam with a knife and paint or cover to protect it from UV rays.
Cleaning:
• After curing: Foam can only be removed mechanically (scraping or cutting). Before curing use PU Foam Cleanner (Art. No. 0892 141 500) or acetone.
• Not Fire-Resistant, Flammable, unsuitable for fireproofing
applications.
• No UV resistance, requires protection to UV exposure
as paints or other coverages.
• It is not recommended to apply it in places subject
to prolonged immersion in water.
Storage and Shelf-life
• Storage temperature: keep between +5°C and
+28°C for optimal performance.
• Avoid extreme conditions: do not expose to
temperatures above 50°C, direct sunlight, or freezing
conditions.
• Can positioning: store vertically to prevent valve
blockage and leakage.
• Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture
if stored correctly.
