The device should only be operated by qualified and authorised personnel. All persons involved in commissioning, servicing and maintaining the device must be appropriately qualified.
The override mode should be used with extreme caution and only in exceptional cases, as the spark and reverse polarity protection are disabled.
Vehicles with diesel/petrol engines and 12 V electrical systems.
1. Turn off the vehicle and remove the ignition key.
2. Connect the jump starter while it is switched off and fully charged.
3. First, connect the red positive terminal to the positive battery terminal; then the black negative terminal to an earth point on the vehicle.
4. Switch on the jump starter and start the vehicle.
5. If necessary, activate the override mode, i.e., if the vehicle battery is almost completely flat or the jump starter's power is insufficient.
5. Switch off the jump starter, then remove the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal.
6. Recharge the jump starter.
