The perforation-proof polyester fleece roof protection film

WÜTOP Thermo ND/SK is a polyester-based, highly vapour-permeable underlay membrane and roof protection film with a monolithic membrane. It is laid directly on the heat insulation or formwork of ventilated and non-ventilated pitched roofs. When combined with WÜTOP vapour retarder/barrier and EURASOL® adhesive tapes, it can be used to create modern airtight and windproof structures that fulfil current energy saving regulations.

Perforation-proof:

Self-seals around nail punctures over firm surfaces (tested at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics and the Technical University of Berlin)

Technology

Polyester fleece with special triple coating and monolithic functional membrane with (SK) and without self-adhesive strip

Reliability

Polyester is an extremely weather-resistant material, providing a high degree of protection from UV radiation and is temperature-resistant up to +150°C / Even wet adhesive strips can be reliably bonded

Saves time and money

Self-seals around nail punctures saving huge amounts of time and money. Easy and fast installation thanks to integrated adhesive strips (SK)

Notice

According to the test certificate no. AZ 100204-3 from the Technical University of Berlin from 22.02.2010 and test reports nos. P6-135/2009; 136/2009 and 137/2009 from the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics – each based on DIN EN 13111; 2001-08 – the product is classified as nail-proof and resistant to driving rain.

Note:

In the test reports P-6-210/2014 (without nail sealing tape) and P-6-211/2014 (with nail sealing tape), both systems were tested. The Wütop Thermo ND/SK showed sufficient resistant to nail punctures.

The following construction-related conditions must be met:

  • Secure counter-battens with 3.1x90 nails

  • Install dry counter-battens. (S10, <20M%)

  • No staples in the surface area of the strip; alternatively, these staple points can be sealed afterwards with a suitable adhesive tape.
