The combination filling appliance is suitable for filling Lube-Shuttle® system cartridges in conjunction with a refill adapter, hand-lever guns, single-handed guns and lubricating units that are equipped with a filling nipple in accordance with DIN 1283, with commercially available greases up to NLGI Class 2.
- Open the grease container and press the grease sequence piston firmly onto the grease.
- Place the centring cover onto the grease container.
- Loosen all 3 thumb screws and slide the centring slide inwards (towards the centre).
- Using the bolts, push the retaining claws outwards as far as they will go.
- Then place the centring cap onto the grease container so that the retaining claws are outside
- and the centring slides are inside the grease container.
- Push the centring slides outwards using the thumb screw as far as they will go. (Lid centres
- itself automatically on the grease container)
- Hold the thumb screw pressing outwards and slide the retaining claw inwards as far as it will go
- using the bolt. Tighten the thumb screw securely.
- Secure the remaining 2 thumb screws and bolts as described above.
- CAUTION!! Check that the centring cap is firmly seated on the grease container.
- The pump can now be pushed through the clamp and secured by means of clamping
- screws.
- The combination filling device is now ready for use.
- Press the lubrication device with the filling nipple onto the filling nozzle of the filling device. The filling nozzle has
- a lock valve.
- The grease automatically pushes back the sealing sleeve in the grease container during the filling process. The
- piston rod of the grease container must be inserted fully before filling. When increased
- resistance is felt at the hand lever of the filling device, the filling process is finished.
